Roles

Dr. Marwa handles lab tasks including preparing the lab and samples, performing the anatomical examination of samples received by the department, taking care of live birds kept in the isolation room and for sample reception and initial diagnosis, attending practical lessons, participating in scientific research for the department's proposed research plans, supervising exams, and also coordinating exams in the department.

Careers

Dr. Marwa elshwihdi obtained her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tripoli in 2014 and applied to the department as a teaching assistant in 2016.

She obtained her Master's degree in 2015.

Research Interests

Dr. Marwa elshwihdi is responsible for cases referred to the department and for referring samples for laboratory diagnosis. She is also involved with research groups within the department.

Dr. Marwa elshwihdi is a member of the Libyan Poultry Diseases Association and has interests in and involvement with veterinary health matters.

External Activities

Dr.  Marwa elshwihdi is interested in environmental issues and participates in workshops held both at the university and elsewhere.
