Roles

I have been working in the University of Tripoli for over twenty years. I specialise in mycotoxins and metabolomics. 

My main duties as a lecturer include teaching, supervising and researching. I have delivered many classes specifically to do with the introduction of food science, general microbiology, food processing and fermentation

 

Careers

In 1999, I became a research assistant in the University of Tripoli. After completing my masters degree I was appointed by the university as a lecturer assistant. I am currently a lecturer in the department of food science and technology.

Research Interests

My research interest lies in trying to understand the relationship between a microbial environment in the fermentation process and cell behaviours during the fermentation and using metabolomics tools to identify the changes in the secondary metabolites.

External Activities

 I have collaborated with international universities which has resulted in several publications. I have also participated in many local and international conferences.
