Roles

After more than forty years at the University of Tripoli as an associate professor, Assahilya Al-Marghani works full-time in the French Language Department as a researcher, supervisor, and lecturer. She is specialized the field of modern French literature. Assahilya is published periodically in the Journal of the Faculty of Languages at the University of Tripoli.

Careers

Assahilya’s career began as a teaching assistant in the French Language Department at the University of Tripoli, then she progressed through her career as a faculty member at the University of Tripoli, first in the Faculty of Education, then in the Faculty of Languages, and currently in the Faculty of Languages and Education.

Research Interests

Assahilya's interests are broad, but she focuses mainly on French literature, especially modern French literature. She supervised graduate research in the same specialty.

External Activities

Assahilya held the position of Director of the Cultural Center of Libya in Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso for ten years. I worked as an inspector in the French language subject at Al-Shuhadaa International School in Tripoli for two years.
