Dr. Mubaraka Saad Al-Ghariani is a Libyan academic specializing in water sciences, physical geography, remote sensing, and geospatial artificial intelligence (GeoAI). She holds a Ph.D. in Water Resources Management from the University of Tripoli and has a strong academic background with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in related fields. Her professional experience includes serving as a faculty member at the University of Tripoli, leading the National Project for Disasters and Crises in the Libyan State, affiliated with the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research, and participating in various scientific committees.

Dr. Alghariani has received multiple awards for her research, including the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Council Award in 2020. She has published extensively on water resources and climate change topics, and she is proficient in several GIS software tools. Additionally, she has conducted numerous training courses and participated in international conferences, contributing significantly to water resource management and environmental sustainability. Her responsibilities at the university include:

  1. Teaching: Preparing and delivering lectures and interactive lessons for students, focusing on the basic concepts of water resource management and the importance of GIS and remote sensing in data analysis.
  2. Scientific Research: Conducting advanced research in the fields of water and environment, and working on developing new techniques to improve water resource management. This includes participating in scientific conferences and publishing research in peer-reviewed journals.
  3. Academic Supervision: Guiding students in their research projects and graduation, providing academic support and mentorship to help them develop their practical and theoretical skills.
