Hussein Ashour Abu Rkiba is a permanent faculty member in the Italian Language Department at the Faculty of Languages ​​since the date of his appointment. He previously taught in the Italian Language Department at the Faculty of Languages ​​for a period exceeding five years as a collaborator, then became a permanent professor to teach several subjects such as grammar, oral subjects, phonetics, linguistics, tourism sciences, and research methods. He supervised several research papers for the graduate students in the department and also contributed to supervising the educational curriculum in the Italian Language Department, as well as giving and teaching language courses on the sidelines of increasing the educational capacity of students, in addition to contributing to teaching as a language professor on several occasions for the open month at the University of Trabas. He is currently assigned the duties of information and documentation coordinator in the Italian Language Department since August 20, 2024, and supervising the workflow within the department. He is also a member of the scientific committee in the department, as well as an academic supervisor for fifteen male and female students

Research Interests

I worked as a freelance translator with several legal translation offices, and I also worked as an Italian language teacher at the Manara Libya Center for Training and Languages.

External Activities

Professor Hussein Abu Keiba worked as a collaborator to teach the Italian language at the university before he was included in an appointment decision at the university, as well as an Italian language translator for the Libyan Antiquities Service for a period exceeding nine years. He also accompanied Italian tourist groups as a guide in archaeological sites and as an intermediary for some Italian companies. He also studied the Italian language in some language teaching and learning centers. Italian also for employees of some public institutions in the country and participation in conferences as an interpreter between the Italian and Libyan sides
