Mr. Ismail Daw Maatouq Omar is a faculty member in the Department of Social Work at the Faculty of Arts and Languages, University of Tripoli, holding the rank of Assistant Lecturer since June 17, 2026. He is active in university-level teaching and contributes to student graduation processes, academic supervision, and graduation projects. He has authored numerous scholarly publications in his field and participates in academic and student-focused activities within the department. Research Interests

Professor Ismail Daw Maatouq’s academic and research interests lie in the field of social work, with a particular focus on issues related to social responsibility, professional performance, community engagement, social development, the cultivation of social awareness, and the promotion of citizenship and a sense of belonging within the university community. He also examines the role of higher education institutions in fostering values ​​of social responsibility among students and staff.
