Roles

Hard-working and passionate Translation Studies lecturer who focused on creating positive environments in which students can learn and grow. I Incorporate interdisciplinary knowledge supported with real life examples into classroom to engage students of all learning orientations . I am interested in developing a career which combines teaching and research, while maintaining my interest in public engagement in different aspects.

Careers

I started as an assistant lecturer before I got promoted to lecturer. I have been promoted to assistant professor. In September 2025 

Research Interests

My interest areas of research include CAT tools and Machine Translation

External Activities

I am an independent translator with many journalistic, legal, and literary translations and interpret some interviews and meetings.

I am also a researcher of non-Arabic texts, such as Tuareg prose and poetry varieties.
