Rahma Alashouri is an Assistant Lecturer in the Translation Department at the University of Tripoli, where she has taught a variety of translation courses. Throughout her academic career, she has supervised graduation projects and provided academic support to students. Rahma began her work at the university as a teaching assistant, contributing to exam coordination, and later served as a translator in the university’s International Cooperation Office, where she translated academic and legal documents. Additionally, she contributed to translating content for the University of Tripoli’s official English-language website.

External Activities

Outside of my academic responsibilities, I serve as a technical translator at Ghathoor Legal Translation Office, specializing in the precise translation of technical documents within legal and specialized contexts. Concurrently, as a Cambridge CELTA-certified instructor (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), I deliver specialized English language instruction to adult learners. My teaching focuses on cultivating competencies in grammar, written and spoken communication, and targeted preparation for internationally recognized proficiency exams such as IELTS, employing learner-centered methodologies to ensure practical skill development.
