Teaching undergraduate courses and delivering lectures in accordance with the approved academic curriculum.

Preparing course materials and updating syllabi to meet academic and disciplinary standards.

Supervising students’ projects and graduation research, and providing academic guidance.

Designing, administering, and grading midterm and final examinations in compliance with university regulations.

Invigilating examinations and ensuring proper conduct and adherence to examination rules.

Careers

I began my professional career as a Teaching Assistant at the university, where my responsibilities included supporting the teaching and learning process and participating in academic activities. I was then promoted to the position of Faculty Member, undertaking university-level teaching, supervising students’ projects, and participating in examination-related duties.

In addition, I obtained the CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), which contributed to the development of my teaching skills and the enhancement of my English language teaching practices in line with international standards

Research Interests

I am interested in studying translation difficulties, particularly in relation to ideology and cultural orientation, and the impact of the translator’s background on conveying meaning while preserving the message of the source text. My research also focuses on ideological and cultural interference in translation, strategies for handling culturally sensitive elements, and achieving a balance between fidelity to the source text and the norms of the target culture.

I am also interested in:

• Translation theories and their practical applications

• Arabic-English translation

• Cultural translation and conveying implicit meanings

• Error analysis and evaluating the quality of translated texts

External Activities

I have participated in several external activities, including collaboration with the University’s International Cooperation Office in implementing and coordinating activities related to academic partnerships. I have also managed the Mobility Unit, contributing to the organization of student and faculty exchange programs and maintaining communication with partner institutions.

In addition, I have worked on document translation in collaboration with various offices, including academic and administrative documents, which has enhanced my professional experience and practical skills in translation.
