Roles

Mr. Walid has been working at the Faculty of Arts - University of Tripoli as a lecturer since 2019 in the Department of Dramatic Arts. His research interests focus on the fields of theater. Mr. Walid held the position of Head of the Department of Dramatic Arts at the Faculty of Arts during the period from 2021 to 2024.

Careers

Since his graduation, Mr. Walid Balaid has worked in the Department of Dramatic Arts as a teaching assistant in the department, and has accomplished many academic and research works, as well as participating in the production of a number of training drama shows to develop students' skills and supervise graduation projects in various scientific specializations within the academic programs provided by the department, which are the acting program, the directing, criticism and dramatic writing program, and the decoration and presentation techniques program.

Research Interests

Mr. Walid Balaid's research interests focus on the fields of acting, directing and theater critical studies, and he has a number of research and studies in the fields of theater and drama.

External Activities

As part of his external activities, Mr. Walid participated in many academic and research works, as well as participating in the production of a number of drama shows through various drama media, including theater, television and radio. He participated in a number of local and international festivals.
