The Department of Fine and Applied Arts was established in the year 1985 AD, on the date of the establishment of the college, and the scientific program of the department is dedicated to creative artistic expression and creative activity in various fields of arts and its specializations, through the application of theoretical and practical knowledge at the university level. The program currently focuses on various art disciplines such as: painting, sculpture, photography, design, printmaking, interior design and advertising design. He aspires to open other majors in the near future, such as textile and fashion design. The goal is to graduate students with the knowledge and ability to carry out more than one task at the same time, in addition to demonstrating an ability in the field of art and its specializations to prepare them to support society and face the challenges of the contemporary environment of the twenty-first century.

Excellence in providing specialized academic programs in the fields of fine and applied arts, keeping pace with scientific and technical development, scientific research, consulting and social services in art at the local and international levels.

Raise the level of awareness, improve the aesthetic and creative taste of our society and actively contribute to community development in various artistic, cultural and creative aspects.
