Careers

I started my career as a teaching assistant in the Prosthodontics Department at the College of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, focusing on removable prosthodontics. My duties included supervising undergraduates, preparing educational materials, assisting with exams, advising students, and engaging in research, workshops, and departmental committees to enhance educational quality.

Research Interests

My research interests are centered in the field of prosthodontics, particularly removable dental prostheses, with a focus on improving the quality of oral health care for patients through the development of therapeutic techniques and the materials used. My interests include studying the factors affecting the retention and stability of complete and partial dentures, as well as methods to improve their functional and biological adaptation within the oral cavity.

I am also interested in researching modern dental materials used in denture fabrication, their physical and mechanical properties, and their impact on performance efficiency and the longevity of prostheses. Additionally, I focus on the clinical aspects related to patient comfort, adaptation to dentures, and their effect on quality of life.

My interests also include the prevention of complications associated with removable prostheses, such as inflammation of the supporting tissues, and studying the role of oral care in improving treatment outcomes. Furthermore, I seek to explore the applications of digital technologies in the design and fabrication of dental prostheses, contributing to the advancement of clinical practices and enhancing the level of accuracy and efficiency in treatment.

External Activities

In addition to my academic duties within the university, I am keen to actively contribute to scientific activities outside the university, supporting the development of scientific research and enhancing academic communication. I serve as a scientific peer reviewer for Al-Qalam Journal, where I review and evaluate scientific research according to approved academic standards, thereby helping to ensure the quality of scientific publishing and elevate the level of published research.

I also work as a scientific editor for Al-Qalam Journal, where I contribute to monitoring the publication process, verifying the scientific and linguistic content, and coordinating with researchers to ensure compliance with the journal's approved publication policies. This role has provided me with valuable experience in the field of scientific publishing, peer review mechanisms, and research ethics.

These activities reflect my ongoing commitment to participating in the broader academic community and contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge beyond the scope of the university institution.
