Raja is a faculty member in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine and Surgery at the College of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery. Mrs. Raja has been working at the University of Tripoli as an assistant lecturer since 05/11/2011 and has many scientific publications in her field of specialization. Currently, I work as the head of the study and examinations department at the college from 6/1/2022 until now. I have served as a member of F7 of the Supreme Committee for Examinations from July 2021 until now.

Work Experience:

Intern period: 2002-2003

6 months at Tripoli Medical centre: I worked on several cases with multiple pathological diseases under supervision of prof. Mohammed Alkabir in the treatment and follow up for these cases.

3 months at Albadri poly clinic: I worked on many cases of simple extraction and surgical extraction. I was involved in minor surgeries.

3 months at Tripoli University at faculty of dentistry: I worked in the pediatric department. The work is starting from prevention programs, passing through all kinds of conservative treatment for children.

10/2004-10/2007: GP dentist at Albadri poly clinic during this time the work was a continuation to the intern period work.

02/2004-02/2005: Lab assistance at Oral Pathology department at Tripoli University Faculty of Dentistry. During this period my job was help students to understand pathological features of oral diseases.

03/2005-10/2007: Clinical assistance at Oral and Maxillofacial surgery department at faculty of dentistry. My job was to supervise students during their practical work in anesthesia and simple extraction.

09/2005-09/2007: Part time work as GP dentist at Agar private clinic. I worked on cases of fixed prosthesis (short and long bridges), removable prosthesis (partial and complete denture) I also worked on conservative treatment (direct and indirect pulp capping and endodontic treatment) in addition I treated cases with periodontal diseases.

01/2007-06/2007: Course in English language at British council in Tripoli.

09/2009-07/2010: I awarded master degree in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery from Manchester University. It was taught course including clinical training in the university dental hospital and Manchester Royal infirmary hospital. Also I had very intense course of research method.

Skills: Proven ability to work under pressure as a member of team, excellent personal skills (especially with children and elderly).

05/2011-until now: I am working at Tripoli University faculty of dentistry as a member of teaching staff in oral surgery department.

01/202- until2020: part time work as GP dentist at Agar private clinic.

10/2016-02/2017: worked at National institution for Medical staff Development, giving courses in oral and maxillofacial surgery and clinical support for newly graduated dental student.

I have shared in a case report paper which has been published on 07/2017 under title A rare unilateral widespread multiple forms of oral lichen planus : clinic-histopathologic evaluation and diagnostic considerations: A case Report.EDJ.2017;63(3): 227-223.
