I got a job as a teaching assistant in February 2004 at the same university.

I obtained a master’s degree in June 2007 from the Academy of Graduate Studies in Janzour with a very good general grade, after approving my master’s thesis entitled: (Replacement of machines and the cost of production) and I began teaching directly at the University of Tripoli - Faculty of Economics and Political Science in January 2008.

I supervised many undergraduate research studies for approximately four years.

I worked a lecturer for approximately 52 months at the university before starting my doctoral study in January 2014.

A research paper was published in June 2019 in the Turkish Journal:

I obtained my doctorate from Atilim University / Ankara / Turkey in August 2019, in international marketing after defending my doctoral thesis entitled: (Export Barriers and Their Role In Reducing the Export Capability of Libyan Small and Medium Enterprises)

The subjects I taught since joining the university until writing this report:

- Principles of business administration. - Principles of Marketing. - Marketing research.

- production management. - Management information systems. - Organization theory.

- Human Resource Management. – Purchasing and Stores management. -Organizational behavior. _Commercial research methods.

Work is underway to publish 3 research papers to obtain the degree of assistant professor in economics and political science, specializing in business administration.

Careers

I held a position as a teaching assistant at the University of Tripoli, Department of Administration. Mrs. Afaf Salem obtained a master’s degree in management from the Academy of Graduate Studies in Tripoli, then obtained a doctorate in management from Al-Atilim University in Turkey. Dr. Afaf Salem returned to work as a lecturer in 2020 in the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, University of Tripoli. The doctor taught many subjects in the field of business administration.

Research Interests

One of the most important research topics that Dr. Afaf Salem is interested in is those related to the human side of management, such as organizational behavior, production management, human resources, and topics in marketing.

External Activities

Dr. Afaf Masoud supervised many graduation projects, but only within the Department of Administration, Faculty of Economics.
