Saber Al-Wahsh is a faculty member in the Economics Department at the Faculty of Economics, Tripoli. He is currently the head of the Economics Department at the college. Mr. Saber has been working at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, University of Tripoli as an Associate Professor since 06-08-2018. Graduation projects for master's students in the college, and he is a member of the graduate studies committee in the department.
Careers
Mr. Saber moved to work at the University of Tripoli in 2015 and worked as a faculty member in the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science. He was assigned the task of membership in the Graduate Studies Committee in the department. He was also assigned a membership in the Journal of the Faculty of Economics. He is currently the head of the economics department in the faculty.
Research Interests
Mr. Saber has many published researches, and most of his interest is focused on economic development and economic growth. Among his published researches are the impact of public spending on gross domestic product, determinants of economic growth in the Libyan economy and obstacles to foreign direct investment in the Libyan economy. Through Mr. Saber's research, it is clear that he seeks to support Economic development in the Libyan economy and diversification of sources of income. A research was published entitled The Role of Economic Resources in Settling Industry in the Fezzan Region. It is clear from the research that Mr. Saber aims from the paper to reduce internal migration and maintain the demographic distribution in the Libyan state. Mr. Saber participated in many numbers Studies and plans on the Libyan economy in the National Planning Council, accompanied by a group of researchers
External Activities
Mr. Saber lectures at the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies at the master's and doctoral levels and works as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Southern Studies at the Center for Southern Studies for Research and Development. Mr. Saber works as a researcher at the National Council for Economic and Social Development, and as an economist at the National Planning Council.
