.Dr. Amna Madi is a faculty member in the Arabic Language Department at the College of Education, Qasr Bin Ghashir. She has worked as an assistant lecturer since 2009, and as a lecturer since 2021. She teaches the major courses for students of the Arabic Language Department and general Arabic language courses for the various departments of the college, as well as academic supervision of students and graduation projects. She has assumed some job duties in the department, where she worked as a coordinator of general Arabic language courses within the college 2011/2010, a quality coordinator in the department 2022/2021, and a supervisor of the department’s website.

Careers

.Dr. Amna obtained a PhD in (Linguistic and Grammatical Studies) from Ain Shams University in the Arab Republic of Egypt in 2020 (with first class honors), a Master's degree in (Linguistic Studies) from the University of Tripoli, Libya in 2005, a Postgraduate Diploma in (Linguistic Studies) in 2022, and a BA from the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies with a very good grade in 1999. She worked as a teacher at the Damascus Neighborhood School for Teaching Education, then as a faculty member in the Arabic Language Department at the college with the rank of Assistant Lecturer starting from 9/2/2009, and with the rank of Lecturer starting from 9/9/2021.

Research Interests

Dr. Amna has scientific interests in the field of linguistics and semantics and their connection to the sciences of the Holy Qur’an, and an interest in modern teaching and learning methods, and learning strategies. She has prepared a special guide for the department that serves as a reference for the department’s members.

External Activities

 Dr. got Amna Ali holds an honorary doctorate in the field of (Linguistic Studies) from the Arab Union for Leadership Preparation in the Arab Republic of Egypt. She attended and participated in a number of scientific conferences and workshops, including: the second annual international conference for the postgraduate studies and research sector entitled: (Scientific research from the perspective of Strategy 2030 (prospects and challenges)) in 2018 - Hurghada, and a workshop held within the conference activities entitled (Postdoctoral research) in 2018 - Hurghada. She passed the (TOEFL) course at the Center for Foreign Languages ​​and Specialized Translation in Cairo - Egypt in 2014, and passed a training course entitled (Preparing Trainers TOT), and another course entitled (Preparing the Educational Leader) from the Arab Union for Leadership Preparation. She participated in attending the activities of a workshop on (Strategic Planning) organized by the Center for University Education Development at the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University - Egypt in 2018, and attended a number of workshops for the Quality Office at the college while assuming the duties of Quality Coordinator in the department.
