About Department of Geography

In 2004, the Department of Geography established the Higher Institute for Teachers’ Preparation, Qasr Bin Ghashir, which was previously annexed to Al-Fateh University to become the College of Teachers’ Preparation by Resolution No. (55) of 2009 AD. The system in force during that period was the annual system and continued until the year 2007-2008 AD, and four batches were graduated. In the annual system, and after that the semester system was opened for the first time in the year 2007-2008 AD, where the student studies eight semesters of educational, general and specialization subjects. After graduation, the student obtains a bachelor’s degree in geography
