Enageh Altaib Ahmed Abdul Qader, born in 1962, holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in physical chemistry from Carl Schorlemmer  University in Germany, and a doctorate in the field of catalysts from Martin Luther University in Germany in 1993.

He was appointed as a faculty member in the year 1998 in the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, Al-Marqab University. He assumed the presidency of the Chemistry Department in 1998/1999, then head of the Department of indroductory stage of medicine in 1999/2000, then he was appointed Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences in Tarhuna in the period from 2000. Until 2011.

He worked as Head of the Chemistry Department at the College of Education, Janzour/University of Tripoli, in the year 2012/2013, then he was appointed Head of the Study and Examinations Department in the same college from the year 2013 to 2016. He also held the position of Head of the Chemistry Department in the academic year 2022/2023.

Careers

Enageh Altaib Ahmed Abdul Qader held the position of a faculty member with the rank of lecturer in the year 1998 at the Faculty of Science, Tarhuna, affiliated with Nasser University at that time. He was then assigned the duties of Head of the Chemistry Department in  1998/1999, Head of the indroductory stage of medicine Department in 1999/2000, and Chairman of the Examinations Committee in  2000/ 1999, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Tarhuna.

He was appointed Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences in Tarhuna from 2000 to 2011, in addition to teaching physical chemistry courses in the Chemistry Department.

He assumed the duties of Chairman of the Teacher Preparation Courses Committee in Tarhuna and Msalata District in 2001/2002.

He was appointed a member of the Faculty Committee at Al-Marqab University from 2000 to 2004.

He worked as a member of the Tenders Committee at Al-Marqab University from 2005 to 2006.

He was appointed Chairman of the Book Committee at Al-Marqab University in 2008.

He moved to work at the University of Tripoli in 2012 as a faculty member in the Chemistry Department, College of Education, Janzour, with the rank of associate professor, and taught several courses in the field of physical chemistry.

He worked as head of the Chemistry Department at the Faculty of Education, Janzour, in  2012/2013, and head of the Study and Examinations Department  from 2013 to 2016. He taught several courses in postgraduate studies at the Libyan academy and universities in his field of specialization.

Research Interests

Dr. Enagah altaib is interested in several topics in the field of research, the most important of which are the study of adsorption and its theories, the environment, water pollution, and the kinetics of chemical reactions and catalysts. He has published a number of scientific research in local and international journals and conferences. He has also evaluated a number of scientific research for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals and for the promotion of faculty members in universities. National and international.

External Activities

Dr. Enagah Altaib  evaluated several scientific researches in local and Arab universities. He was also assigned to work on committees for granting a license for postgraduate studies by the Quality Center. He participated in the conference on the ban of chemical weapons, which was held in Doha in 2017. He is a member of the advisory committee of a local scientific journal and a member of the college magazine committee. Cooperate with the Commission for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to get rid of the remains of dangerous chemicals in Libya.
