Roles

Dr. Awatef is one of a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Education, Janzour, University of Tripoli. She joined to the Department  of Mathematics in 2008. Currently, she is working in the department as a lecturer and she has many scientific publications in her field of specialization. Currently, she is supervising graduation projects as well as some students academically. From 2010 to 2012, Dr. Awatef was the coordinator of the study and examinations in the Department of Mathematics. She also assumed head of the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Education, Janzour in 2013 - 2014. Currently, she is the coordinator of the electronic system, and coordinator of the study and examinations in the department of Mathematics, and a member in the committee to preparation the student directory in the department of Mathematics.

Careers

Before joining  at the university, Dr. Awatef was a teacher in the secondary school from 2001 to 2008, and then she was appointed to the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Education, Janzour - University of Tripoli, with the degree of assistant Lecturer in 2008, after obtaining a master's degree from the Department of Mathematics - Faculty of Science - University of Tripoli, and then she was re-appointed in the Department of Mathematics - The Faculty of Education, Janzour, with the degree of Lecturer in 2022 after obtaining a doctorate from Turkey.

Research Interests

Dr. Awatef has research papers in her field of specialization, and she has an interest in educational research related to education (university and pre-university), she is interest in knowing what is new in educational technology. In addition to, she is interest in knowing important programs such as (SPSS, Matlab, Maple, and others).

External Activities

Courses in mathematics (1_2), and courses in statistics and probability for teachers in secondary schools.
