Roles

I was appointed as a faculty member as an assistant lecturer in 2003, College of Education, Janzour. I was appointed head of the faculty department from 2008 to 2011. I obtained my doctorate in 2009. I was appointed quality coordinator in the department in 2019, and coordinator of graduate studies in the department in 2023.

Careers

I was appointed Head of the Self-Resources Department at the Higher Institute for Teacher Education, Janzour, 2001, and a faculty member in the Sociology Department, 2003. And Head of the Faculty Department, 2008. I was appointed as a monitor of education in Janzour from 2011 to 2019, a quality coordinator in the department in 2019, and a coordinator of graduate studies in the department in the year 2023.

Research Interests

Due to my specialization in the field of public and higher education and my professional experience, my interests focus on the educational field and the problems of public and higher education. In addition to my interest in scientific research methods and research design in the field of sociology, social sciences, and youth problems.

External Activities

I evaluated many research papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and attended many workshops in research, education, and quality. I was also appointed head of the committee to review and evaluate some research projects in the field of social sciences for the Libyan General Authority for Scientific Research, and I was appointed as a supervisor of education in the municipality of Janzour from 2011 to 2019.
