Roles

Abdurraouf Mohammed Aghila has been a faculty member at the University of Tripoli since July 2020, and he is currently working as an assistant professor in the Physics Department at the Faculty of Education - Tripoli. Mr. Aburraouf M. Aghila held the position of Head of the Department of Studies and Exams at the Faculty of Education during the period from Fall 2020 to Spring 2021. Mr. Abdurraouf M. Aghila has many scientific publications in his field of specialization.

Careers

Abdurraouf Aghila worked from 1999 until October 2005 as a medical physicist in the Unit of radiation Dosimetry and Treatment Planning of Cancer Patients, Medical Radiation Physics Department, Tripoli Medical Center. From October 2005 to July 2020 as an assistant lecturer, then a lecturer in the Physics Department, Faculty of Science, Al-Jabal Al-Garbi University. From July 2020 as an Assistant Professor at  Department of Physics, Faculty of Education ( Tripoli), University of Tripoli.

Research Interests

Studying and analysing radiation dosimetric measurements of radiation treatment machines, measuring the activity of radioactive elements in environment, using simulation softwares in radiation fields, quality assurance and quality control programming for radiotherapy machines. 

External Activities

Abdulraouf Aqila worked as a collaborator in a number of faculties at the University of Tripoli and the University of Gharyan, teaching many physics courses. He also worked from 2016 to 2017 as a medical physicist in the Medical Physics Department at Tripoli University Hospital.
