Roles

Focusing on the tasks assigned to me by devoting myself entirely to scientific research and teaching tasks from the beginning of my appointment at the university. Generally, tasks include the following points:

1- Carrying out the task of teaching for undergraduate and graduate studies.

2- Supervision of graduation projects.

3- Evaluating graduation projects for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

4- Attending department meetings and contributing to them by giving the appropriate opinion.

5- Participation in scientific conferences and seminars within the university.

6- Scientific contribution by writing research papers to work on introducing up to date scientific developments and keeping abreast of recent developments.

Careers

Dr. Hend was obtained as assistant lecturer in 2008. She obtained her PhD in 2017.

She was reappointed as a lecturer in 2017, and then obtained the degree of Assistant Professor in 2020.

Research Interests

My research interest focuses in general on everything related to the field of paving and construction materials, and in particular on studying and evaluating common performance problems that occurred in our country, and researching methods of evaluation and treatment.

External Activities

She works as an external reviewer for some journals, some of them:

Construction & Building Materials,  Journal of Adhesion Science and Technology, Materials,  sustainability, Iranian Journal of Science and Technology, Transactions of Civil Engineering, International Journal of Pavement Research and Technology and Arabian Journal for Science and Engineering.
