Muharrem Drebi is a faculty member in the Computer Engineering Department at the College of Engineering. Mr. Muharrem Drebi works at the University of Tripoli as a lecturer and supervisor for many graduation projects.He has previously participated in several committees within the University of Tripoli, including the Higher Advisory Committee for Information Technology at the University of Tripoli to develop the specifications booklet for the Campus Management System. He also served on the committee overseeing the project to establish the university’s data center and the committee for inspecting and matching the specifications for the supplies from Lab Tech Company.

Careers

Muharrem has over 20 years of experience in integrated circuit design. He previously worked at Intel in Oregon, USA, one of the world’s leading companies specializing in the design and manufacture of computer processors. During his time at the company, he participated in the design of many of these processors and gained excellent practical experience that complements his academic expertise.

Research Interests

Among the interests of Mr. Muharrem are the design of digital and analog integrated circuits, the design of printed circuit boards for mixed signal and RF circuits, researching ways to develop edge computing and finding new applications for it, and integrating it with artificial intelligence (AI). His interests also include silicon photonics and quantum computing.

External Activities

He is very interested in self-development on a daily basis by keeping up with the latest updates and advancements in the field of computer engineering and enrolling in advanced and intensive courses related to his research interests through prominent online learning platforms and other specialized platforms.
