Dr. Sarra Moftah Elrabiei is a faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Tripoli. She began her career at the university in 2013 as an Assistant Lecturer and is currently serving as a Lecturer, teaching several advanced courses in her field. In addition to her teaching duties, she has played a significant role in fostering a culture of scientific research within the department and the university through the publication of numerous research papers in prestigious international journals in the field of computer engineering and communications, such as “Elsevier Computer Networks” and the “IEEE International Symposium”. Her research has focused on contemporary and important topics, including optical networks and multimedia wireless communications, which have greatly contributed to enhancing the department’s reputation both locally and internationally, elevating the university's standing as a center of academic and research excellence.

Currently, Dr. Sara holds the position of Quality Coordinator in the Computer Engineering Department, a role she has held since August 2022. In this capacity, she works to ensure adherence to the highest academic and administrative quality standards within the department. Through this responsibility, she strives to continuously monitor and assess academic and administrative performance to ensure educational objectives are met and best practices are applied across all aspects of the educational process. Her efforts focus on promoting continuous improvement, meeting accreditation requirements, and maintaining the department's status as one of the leading departments at the university.

Since joining the University of Tripoli, Dr. Sara has been committed to providing high-quality education, adopting a teaching methodology that combines theoretical and practical aspects. This approach ensures that students not only understand the fundamental concepts but also acquire the practical skills necessary in the field of computer engineering. She has supervised many undergraduate capstone projects, encouraging students to adopt innovative research methodologies and develop their research and analytical skills.
