Roles

Since starting his work as a faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering, Dr. Nizar Ali Khemri has taught several courses in the department, including Electronic Circuits course EC312, Electronic Circuits Lab EC312L, and the Data Acquisition and Control Systems course EC441 and its laboratory EC441L. He also supervised several students in their graduation projects and assumed several supervisory tasks in the department. Dr. Khemri also has held the position of undergraduate director and coordinator in the department since April 2023.

Careers

Dr. Nizar Khemri has begun his work as a faculty member in the Computer Engineering Department under the academic degree lecturer and is in the process of preparing for the next promotion.

Research Interests

Dr. Nizar Khemri is interested in studying control systems, optimization, artificial intelligence, and data processing and management systems.

External Activities

Dr. Khemri assumed several tasks outside the university, including chairing the Artificial Intelligence and Computing track Committee at the 2024 IEEE 4th International Maghreb Meeting of the Conference on Sciences and Techniques of Automatic Control and Computer Engineering  (MI-STA 2024), which was hosted by the University of Tripoli in May 2024. He also performed and continues to perform the tasks of reviewer of scientific and research papers for several local and international journals and conferences.
