Prof. Dr. Omar Giuma Mrehel worked as a study and examination coordinator in the Electrical Engineering Department, then as a quality coordinator in the same department. He currently holds the position of Head of the Research, Consulting and Training Department at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Tripoli.

Prof. Dr. Omar Giuma Mrehel is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. His research interests include digital protection of power and electrical systems, as well as the stability of electrical networks and renewable energy. Finally, he is interested in using artificial intelligence methods to solve electrical energy problems.
