Mr. Abdulhamid Esuri is one of the staff members at the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering. He is working as a full professor since 2010-05-01. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several publications in the field of his interest.

During the past 30 years, He held the position of director of the postgraduate studies and training office in the faculty of engineering and a member of the university postgraduate studies committee, and head of Electrical and Electronics department.

Careers

Mr. Abdulhamid H. Esuri was appointed as teaching assistance in the department of electrical and electronics engineering in 1982.and he obtained M.Sc. degree, then a Ph.D. in the field of power electronics. He was appointed to the rank of lecturer in the department in 1992 and moved to assistant professor, then associate professor, and in 2010 he was promoted to the rank of professor.

Research Interests

In addition to his tasks of teaching and supervising the students of the department at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, he assumed the duties of the coordinator of studies and examinations in the department, and a director of the postgraduate studies of the faculty of engineering.

represented. Professor Abdulhamid's research interests in the field of power electronics and their applications in supervising more than 20 master's theses and publishing many research papers in conferences and journals at the local and international levels,

External Activities

He also contributed to the review and evaluation of many research papers prepared for publication in some scientific journals and participated in the preparation and establishment of many scientific conferences such as the electrical engineering conferences. He also discussed and evaluated the master's theses for the Department of Electrical Engineering, at the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies.
