Hanan Wanis is a faculty member in the Department of Geological Engineering, College of Engineering. Mrs. Hanan Wanis has been working as a lecturer at the University of Tripoli since 02-04-2016, where she teaches specialization courses in the field of water resources.

Careers

1-She worked in the Department of Geological Engineering from 2003-2010 as a laboratory engineer and contributed to teaching several laboratories, namely general geology, structural geology, computer applications, minerals and rocks, and groundwater modeling.

2-I was appointed as a faculty member in 2010, with the degree of assistant lecturer, and I contributed to teaching several subjects, namely, groundwater geochemistry, hydrology, water well hydraulics, groundwater flow, water well design, and groundwater modeling.

3 -I supervised several graduation projects and was a member of the Committee for reviewing graduate files, a member of the Study and Examinations Committee, and a coordinator of the Water Division.

Research Interests

I submitted some research papers, namely:

- Status study of Abu Shaybah Aquifer in the Middle Part of the jifarah plain, Libya.

- Water Resources Evaluation in Ghadamis Basin, Libya.

- Hydrogeochemical study of the groundwater of Ghadames, Daraj, Sinawan, northwestern Libya.

I supervised several graduation projects in the Water Resources Division.
