Reda Muhammad Masoud Gibran is a faculty member in the Arabic Language Department at the College of Arts, Tripoli. Mr. Reda Muhammad Gibran works at the University of Tripoli as an associate professor in the field of Arabic literature and criticism and has many scientific publications in his field of specialization.

Careers

He worked as head of the Arabic Language Department at one of the branches of the University of Tripoli in 2005. · He was appointed as a delegate to the Saud Al-Babtain Foundation for Poetry Production in Libya for two years 2001-2002. · He worked as Head of the Faculty Office at the College of Arts in 2015. · He worked as head of the faculty office at the College of Islamic Da’wah from 2019-2024.

Research Interests

· He taught the Arabic language curriculum in the secondary education stage at Ali Wraith School, and studied the following subjects at the University of Tripoli, the College of Islamic Da’wah and Education, Janzur, and Sharia Tajoura: Arabic literature and criticism, critical issues, literary text analysis, prosody and rhyme, Andalusian literature, pre-Islamic literature, literature. Islamic, Abbasid literature, literature of successive states, rhetoric, Badi science, ancient literary criticism, modern literary criticism.

External Activities

He works as the editor-in-chief of Wahi Al-Andalus magazine in the Libyan Andalusian Society. · He has a collection of poetry entitled (Skirmishes), which tells patriotic, political and nationalist positions and some excerpts from his prison in which he was unjustly imprisoned in 2004. He has another collection of poems (Songs and Joys). · He participated in preparing the newspaper (New Libya), the first newspaper published on the occasion of the first anniversary of the February 17 Revolution in Rabat.
