Sarah Abu Abulugma is a faculty member in the Department of Counseling and Psychotherapy at the College of Arts, Tripoli. Mrs. Sarah Abuluqma has been working at the University of Tripoli as an assistant lecturer since 01/19/2016 and has many scientific publications in her field of specialization.

Careers

Professor Sarah Abdel Rahim Abulugma is a faculty member in the Department of Counseling and Psychotherapy - Faculty of Arts - Tripoli. She obtained a master’s degree in educational psychology (2011). I obtained the degree of Assistant Professor during the year (2022).

Research Interests

Research interests include research and study in the field of behavioral problems, psychological disorders, mental health, and psychotherapy. It has many researches and studies in the field of mental health and psychological disorders.

External Activities

participation in providing psychological counselling to inmates at the new convention and rehabilitation institution Tripoli 2010

Participation in the activities of the third conference of the Libyan Society for Psychological Sciences, 2013.

Participation in preparing, designing and presenting a workshop program (Preparing Counsel Providers) in cooperation with the National Center for Disease Control, at (Al-Jalaa Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology, Central Hospital, Gharyan Hospital, Al-Zawiya Hospital, Al-Khoms Hospital), 2014.

Cooperation with Al-Safa Center for psychological counseling for displaced people in Tawergha and Janzour camps, on behavioral problems in children and how to deal with them, 2015.

Cooperating with some secondary schools in the Tripoli area to deliver awareness lectures to teachers and psychologists and social workers about the acquired immunodeficiency virus (AIDS) and how to deal with this category of students, 2018.
