Ali Shaban Abdul-Jabbar: He is a faculty member and works in the Counseling and Psychotherapy Department at the Faculty of Arts, Tripoli. Mr. Ali Abdul-Jabbar works at the University of Tripoli as an assistant professor and has many scientific publications and contributions in his field of specialization. Through his work in the department and the college, Mr. Ali Abdul-Jabbar teaches in the department in Halati (university and postgraduate) and systematically supervises graduation projects and master's students' research. He also works in many committees and scientific tasks at the university and college levels, as well as some of them are the tasks of the Quality Programs Committee in the department and the committee for raising the classification of the University of Tripoli by activating the official website of the college. Dr. Abdul-Jabbar also supervises the Faculty of Arts website.

Careers

Before joining the University of Tripoli, Dr. Ali Abdul-Jabbar worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Technical Sciences and Teacher Training. After obtaining a master’s degree in social sciences in 2001 from the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Social Sciences, and after obtaining a Ph. Academic for the College until 2014, and Chairman of the Scientific Committee.

Dr. Abdul-Jabbar joined the Faculty of Arts at the University of Tripoli in 2014, where he worked as a lecturer in the Counseling Department. Through his work in the quality program in the department and college, he contributed to activating the institutional and program accreditation program and updating the educational curricula in it. He is now working as a lecturer with the degree of assistant professor in the Department of Counseling and Psychotherapy.

Research Interests

One of the most important research areas in which Dr. Abdul-Jabbar works is scientific research methodologies and their enrichment in university research for students. Currently, Dr. Abdul-Jabbar is working on the use of artificial intelligence in scientific research, and he is now involved in a number of academic and training programs to transfer and exploit this field in the humanities and research in the university education of the researcher. Among his fields and research interests also: sponsorship of the gifted and talented, international humanitarian law, human rights, the field of organizations and civil society institutions and the third sector, and social research

External Activities

In addition to his work as a researcher and lecturer at the university, the researcher has many research and scientific activities at the regional and national levels.

- - Head of the training research team for international humanitarian law and human rights at the Research, Consultation and Training Center at the University of Tripoli.

- Trainer and advisor on international humanitarian law at the Libyan Red Crescent Society

- Member of the Libyan National Committee for International Humanitarian Law (Ministerial Committee).

- Coordinator of the Scientific Committee of the Libyan Society for the Care of the Outstanding and Gifted
