Dr. Fatima Bannour is one of the faculty members in the Department of Sociology at the College of Arts, Tripoli. Mrs. Fatima has been working at the University of Tripoli as an associate professor since 2021 and has many scientific publications in her field of specialization. Interested in teaching social theories in bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs. Careers

I obtained my high school diploma from Al-Majd High School in 1991 with an excellent grade, and I joined the university in 1992 and previously studied at the College of Social Sciences. Then I completed my graduate studies in the same college in the Department of Social Development and Planning and obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences in the Department of Social Development and Planning in 2002, and was published for me. A book entitled (The political, economic and social rights of women among theories). I began my professional life and worked in health inspection. After a year of working in health inspection, I resigned and worked as a faculty member at the Higher Institute for Proficiency Raising for five years. Then I moved to work at the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Arts, Department of Sociology, as a faculty member. She obtained a doctoral degree from the University of Tripoli, specializing in human development and women’s studies in 2009.

Research Interests

MA, University of Tripoli in 2002, Ph.D., University of Tripoli, in 2009. She has interests in human development and sustainable development and has a number of researches in this field.

External Activities

I participated in a training course in the SSPS statistical program from the Statistics Department at the College of Economics and Political Science in partnership with the College of Arts in the year 2023, and obtained an accredited certificate from the College of Economics and Political Science.I participated in a training course with the Maghreb Union Institute in Tunisia
