Laila Sabei is one of the staff members in the department of community and family medicine, she is working in the department since 2009. she teaches several subjects in her specialty and has several publications in the field of her interest.

Research Interests

She has research interests in her field of specialization, which is family medicine, such as chronic diseases diabetes and hypertension, and endemic diseases, as well as infectious diseases such as AIDS and (COVID-19) and patients’ satisfaction with health services and occupational health.

- Head of medical research administration at the Libyan board of medical specialties (2007-2009).

-         Member of the preliminary committee of medical research at the Libyan board of medical specialties (2008-2013)

-         Member of the scientific committee of Algalla maternity hospital (2007-2009).

-         Member of the editorial board of Libya Medical Journal (2010-2013).
