Ali Otman Daeki is a professor of Immunology in the Department of Microbiology and Medical Immunology at the Faculty of  Medicine. Prof. Ali Daeki has been working at the University of Tripoli as a professor since 07-22-2002, Chairman of the Postgraduate Studies Committee in the Department of Microbiology and Medical Immunology, March 2024, and has many scientific publications in his specialization.

1- Professor Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology and Medical Immunology since 2002 AD.

2- Professor lecturer in the medical immunology curriculum at the medical and dental colleges and the Libyan Academy since 2002 AD.

3-Member of the College’s Study and Examinations Committee 2005-2006.

4- Promotion to the rank of Assistant Professor in 2006.

5- Supervisor of Postgraduate Studies in the Department 2007 AD.

6- Promotion to the rank of Associate Professor in 2010.

 7- Vice Dean of the College of Human Medicine 2013 AD.

8- Dean of the College of Human Medicine/designated 2014 AD.

9- Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research 2014 AD.

10- Promotion to the rank of professor in 2017.

11- Chairman of the Postgraduate Studies Committee in the Department of Microbiology and Medical Immunology, March 2024.

Research Interests

External Activities

An external examiner in medical immunology for third-year students in colleges of human medicine and second-year students in colleges of oral and dental medicine and surgery at the universities of Benghazi, Sebha, Al-Zawiya, Al-Jafara, Gharyan, Sirte, and Al-Khoms.

 Teaching the subject of medical immunology in the faculties of human medicine and the faculties of oral and dental medicine and surgery at the universities of Tripoli, Al-Khoms, Sirte Al-Zawiya, Al-Jafara and, at the Libyan Academy.

 Lecturer in medical immunology for postgraduate students at the universities of Tripoli and Binghazi 2006-2015 AD

 Lecturer in medical immunology in courses held by the National Center for Disease Control for doctors and auxiliary medical staff in the cities of Tripoli and Benghazi 2012-2022 

 Lecturer and Supervisor of Postgraduate Theses (Master’s) at the Libyan Academy 2006-2024.
