Houda Mohamed Ismail. (H.ismail@uot.edu.ly). Mrs. Houda Ismail has been working at the University of Tripoli as a faculty member (assistant lecturer) and researcher in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology after obtaining a higher degree in Medical Microbiology and immunology (MYCOLOGY). She has two scientific publications in her field of specialization with the participation of her colleagues from the department.

Careers

Dr. Houda Ismail obtained her bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery from University of Tripoli, then became a teaching assistant in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, then an assistant lecturer since 2021 to the present. 

She participated as a course coordinator in the department for a semester and works as quality control coordinator in the department since 2021

Research Interests

Research interests include studying causative agents of human infections (bacteria, viruses and mainly fungi) for example, by isolating the pathogens and studying their resistance to antibiotics, microbial chemotherapy and other indicators. 

External Activities

Prior to becoming a faculty member, she practices as a general physician in medicine at Tripoli Central Hospital for two years and she attended courses of quality controlling courses, ILETS courses in addition to courses of research methodology and Mendeley references.
