Welcome to the Physiology Department, one of the most important basic medical science departments in the Faculty of Medicine, where a team of competent academics provides a distinguished educational experience and creates an environment conducive to learning and scientific research.
Physiology studies the functions of the human body organs and systems, and the mechanisms and regulation of these functions. Our department teaches it through lectures and laboratory practice, which equip students with the fundamental medical knowledge acting as a foundation to other specialties of medicine.
