More than 16 years at UOT and I am one of the staff members at the department of the faculty of pharmacy (my job is teaching and Research) in the Department of medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry.
I have been participated in teaching several subjects in both undergraduate and postgraduate level in this field. and also have several publications in the field of my interest.

* Pharmaceutical Medicinal Chemistry: A standard course offered to the third and fourth year class, Faculty of Pharmacy. Emphasis is on uses, syntheses, correlation of properties, structure and
biological activity for compounds of medicinal and pharmaceutical importance.

Spectrophotometric Identification of Pharmaceutical Compounds: The course deals with the
principles and application of mass (MS) and infra-red (IR) spectrometry in the structural elucidation
of organic compounds.
* . Advanced Medicinal Chemistry: A standard course offered to post graduate student, faculty of pharmacy, Correlation of properties, structure and biological activity for recent compounds of medicinal and pharmaceutical importance.

2. Interested in the fields of tricyclic theophylline derivatives as a potential agent acting on CNS and CVS.
3. Interested in the fields alkyl amide derivatives of tricyclic theophylline as 5-HT1 and 5-HT2 agonist or antagonist.
