Roles

I worked for more than 26 years at the University of Tripoli / College of Pharmacy as a full-time faculty member, starting as a research assistant and reaching the rank of associate professor (full-time for teaching and scientific research tasks) in the Department of Pharmacology at the College of Pharmacy / University of Tripoli.  

Careers

The primary roles now are as a researcher, lecturer, and supervisor of graduation projects for students from the Faculty of Pharmacy/University of Tripoli, which have been regularly published in scientific journals.  

All of this coincided with delivering theoretical lectures and practical explanations of laboratories to college students over the years in the subject of specialty in the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy, while supervising making of theoretical and laboratory exams for students.

Research Interests

After graduating from the College of Pharmacy / University of Tripoli and obtaining a bachelor’s degree, I joined the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy as a research assistant for college students in the pharmacology laboratories for 8 consecutive years. In the meantime, I obtained a master’s degree, specializing in pharmacology, with a research project for this degree entitled (Study of The effect of lithium salts in treating schizophrenia on Albino mice) 

Then the position was transformed from a research assistant to a faculty member, and successive promotions were obtained as a result of publishing several specialized research papers in scientific journals until I obtained the title of associate professor. 

External Activities

Over the past years, I have worked as a regular reviewer for some research papers that were published in various scientific journals for colleagues faculty members for the purpose of obtaining their promotion.  

In addition to my participation and attendance in a number of international scientific conferences.
