Roles
- graduated from the Faculty of Science, Department of Botany, with a very good grade, and I was appointed as a demonstrator in 1994, I taught the practical side of several subjects in the department; Several courses, both theoretical and practical: general botany!/BO102/BO101 Plant Anatomy BO201 Plant Anatomy, Principles of Genetics BO202, Cytogenetic BO302 and Principles of Genetic Engineering BO416 from the electives in the department. -General Plant Material Coordinator BO101.
Careers
1994-2000Demonstrator in the Department Study the practical part of algae and plant anatomy 2008-2009 Faculty member in the department Assistant lecturer teaching plant anatomy for undergraduate students 2010-2013 Lecturer of general botany for undergraduate students in the department and students of the preparatory stage of the Faculty of Medicine 2013-2020 Lecturer of Principles of Genetics BO202 2022-2023 Lecturer in Cell and Genetics BO302 2014-2023 Lecturer in Genetic Engineering Elective BO415
Research Interests
As the research topic for obtaining a master's degree (Production and characterization of Pisum Sativum plants over expressing mitochondrial matrix HSP70) Production and study of genetically modified peas, starting from the extraction of bacterial plasmid through all the stages necessary for the cloning process and the success of the production of genetically modified plants, I acquired multiple skills using genetic engineering techniques: DNA extraction from plant tissue DNA extraction & purification, plasmid extraction from Agrobactreium Gel electrophoresis, PCR and Gene Gun, southern blot hybridization Plant Tissue Culture and conducting the required tests to ensure the success of cloning and germination in greenhouses. Preparation and examination of chromosomes in different phases of mitosis and meiosis of some plants.
