Roles
As a faculty member in the Chemistry Department at the University of Tripoli, my responsibilities encompass both teaching and administrative tasks, playing a pivotal role in the education and development of students across various faculties. My primary focus is on delivering comprehensive chemistry education through a combination of lectures, laboratory sessions, and committee involvement.have taught *General Chemistry I and II* to students in both the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Articulture. These courses are essential for building a solid foundation in chemistry, covering key concepts such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, and chemical equilibrium. For the agricultural students, the curriculum is tailored to incorporate practical applications of chemistry in engineering disciplines, allowing them to relate chemical theory to their field of study. In addition to these theoretical courses, I have also been responsible for teaching laboratory courses. I have instructed the *General Chemistry Laboratory*, where students acquire hands-on experience with essential experimental techniques, including titration, spectrophotometry, and chemical analysis. The laboratory component is designed to complement the lecture material, ensuring that students can apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Moreover, I have taught the *Biochemistry Laboratory* course to students from the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Agriculture at both the University of Tripoli and the University of Bab Tajoura. This course involves practical experiments in areas such as enzyme kinetics, protein purification, and metabolic pathways. The aim is to deepen the students' understanding of the biochemical processes that occur in living organisms, providing them with a solid grasp of experimental biochemistry techniques.Beyond my teaching responsibilities, I have actively participated in departmental committees. One of my key contributions has been as a member of the *Lab Inventory Committee* within the Chemistry Department at the University of Tripoli. Overall, my role as a faculty member involves a combination of teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the department’s organizational goals, all aimed at enhancing the learning experience for students and ensuring the smooth functioning of the department.
