Dr. Dalanda Nassef now works as a permanent assistant professor in the department and teaches physics courses: mechanics, electricity, magnetism, sound and light, heat and properties of matter, thermodynamics, electronics, nuclear, and laboratory (electrical, electronic, and nuclear).

Dr. Nassif also worked as a coordinator of the Office for Study and Examinations and as a member of it as well.

Careers

Since her graduation (from the Department of Physics/Faculty of Science/University of Tripoli) in 1992, Mrs. Dalenda Nasef has worked in the Office of Study and Examinations in this department for two years, after which she was appointed in 1994 as a teaching assistant in the department, where she taught some of the department’s laboratories and exercise lectures for some subjects. She also worked in the Office of Study and Examinations for several years. For several years, she also joined the department’s graduate studies program, where she obtained a master’s degree in solid state physics in 1997. She was reappointed as a faculty member in the department, where she taught several subjects. In 2004, she joined the doctoral program in the Czech public and obtained a doctorate in applied physics in 2008, she returned directly to her home country, Libya, where she joined teaching in her department. She also helped work in the Office of Study and Examinations as a member and as a coordinator as well. She was interested and passionate in the field of nuclear physics and published many publications in this field. It was published in the journals of Sebha University of Research and Applied Sciences, and the Libyan Journal of Science. It also participated in the Fourth International Conference on Science and Technology in Sebha.
