Word Of the Manager QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE EVALUATION DEPARTMENT

Although the term quality is a relatively recent term, it is in fact an old concept, generally represented in workmanship and product quality, and this what the College of Science has sought since its inception by offering integrated scientific programs that keep pace with modern scientific developments, which are taught by faculty members who are recognized for their competence. In addition to the auxiliary staff of technicians and research assistants, who actively contribute to advancing and advancing the educational and research process in the college, in order to reach an efficient graduate who is able to serve the community in his field of specialization. The role of the Office of Quality and Performance Evaluation in the college comes as a support for the implementation of the sustainable quality system in the college, by preparing periodic and annual follow-up reports for the college’s performance, to identifying and supporting strengths, as well as identifying weaknesses and submitting proposals to avoid and overcome them, and conducting a field survey, analyzing data from student questionnaires, as well as questionnaires from faculty, administrators, and technicians, to find out the difficulties and challenges they face. in addition to providing support and assistance to quality coordinators in scientific departments to ensure that their departments meet the requirements of the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions. And now the College of Science, after more than sixty-five years of its establishment, and thanks to the successive efforts of generations of professors, has offered more than twenty scientific programs, with various scientific disciplines and complexes distributed between undergraduate and postgraduate studies, which makes the College of Science a great scientific edifice, and this in turn makes the volume of work large and requires the intensification of all groups within the college, including academics, administrators, and students, to achieve the goals of the college and improve its performance.

I extend my thanks to the colleagues who took over the leadership of the Quality and Performance Evaluation Department and contributed to its establishment, and laying the basic building blocks for it, which were a starting point and support for us in the direction of achieving quality assurance standards in all fields in accordance with local and international standards.

Finally, all thanks and appreciation for the efforts made in obtaining the institutional accreditation of the college for each of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ramadan Al-Mabrouk Al-Jadi and the former Vice Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Rabia Omar Al-Ghazir and Mrs. Head of Quality and Previous Performance Evaluation Department Dr. Fawzia Al-Mabrouk Khamis, and the work team in the department, represented by the quality coordinators in the scientific departments, and everyone who contributed to the college obtaining institutional accreditation, and we hope that efforts will continue to obtain program accreditation.
