Roles

One of the faculty members in the Department of Statistics at the College of Science held many positions such as Head of the Office of Study and Examinations in the Department of Statistics 1991-1994, then Head of the Department of Statistics 1996-1998 and Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies in the Department of Statistics and a member of the Quality Committee at the College of Science and a member of the Curriculum Development Committee at the College of Science.

Careers

Worked as an employee in the Department of Statistics and Census (Head of the Prices Department) - Ministry of Planning 1978-1979 was appointed as a demonstrator in the Department of Statistics 1979-1980. He obtained a master's degree in statistics in 1982 at Missouri State University - USA and then completed his doctoral studies in statistics in 1986 at Kansas State University - USA and returned to the Department of Statistics at the Faculty of Science as a lecturer, then assistant professor in the department, associate professor and professor from 2006 to now and held many positions in the department.

Research Interests

Participated in the preparation of scientific curricula in the specialized secondary school and participated in the authorship of many scientific books and has many scientific publications in his field of specialization and supervised many master's theses in the field of statistics inside and outside the department.
