Ismail Abdul Salam Al-Shaqman is a faculty member in the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science. Ismail Al-Shaqman has been working at the University of Tripoli as a professor since 2020-03-21. He has many scientific publications in the field of marine sciences. He held the position of Director of the Graduate Studies Office at the Faculty of Science. He also held the position of Director of the Graduate Studies Department at the university. He worked as a scientific advisor with several internal and external entities in his field of specialization. He is now the head of Goal No. 14 for sustainable development and has supervised many master's theses in his field of specialization.

Faculty member since 2001 in the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science - Director of the Graduate Studies Office at the Faculty - Director of the Graduate Studies Administration at the University from September 2018 to March 2023 I supervised many master's theses and obtained many research grants. Professor in Marine Sciences interested in the field of marine environment and marine biodiversity. I have conducted many researches and studies related to marine environment and biodiversity, and there are many publications in this field.
