Roles

      Ms. Hamida Ali Jabr is a faculty member in the Zoology Department at the College of Science. She teaches courses in General Zoology, Invertebrate Science 1 and 2, Forensic Entomology, and Forensic Histopathology. Ms. Hamida Ali Jabr also supervises the research of undergraduate students at the college.

Careers

     Ms. Hamida Ali Jabr joined the University of Tripoli from January 2000 to July 2007 as a teaching assistant in the Department of Zoology. She participated in teaching the practical parts of the courses General Zoology (1, 2), General Parasitology, Medical Parasitology, Comparative Anatomy, Invertebrate Zoology (2), Ichthyology and Fisheries, and Ecology.

She also participated in teaching the practical parts of the General Zoology course (medical preparatory stage) as a collaborator at the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medical Technology, and Faculty of Dental Surgery at the University of Tripoli from 2000 to 2004. She worked as a research assistant in the Department of Zoology / Faculty of Science from July 2007 to 2023. In April 2023, she was appointed as a faculty member at the University of Tripoli. From April 2023 until now, she works in the Faculty of Science as a faculty member teaching General Zoology, Invertebrate Science 1 and 2, Forensic Entomology and Forensic Histopathology. She also worked as an associate professor in 2022 teaching General Zoology and Parasitology courses for the first and third semesters for students of the Faculty of Education - Asbia - University of Jfara.

     Hamida Ali Jabr's research interests lie in marine sciences and forensics.
