Dr. Essam Talha has been working at the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Science, Department of Zoology since 1997. He was promoted to the position of lecturer in 2015. He has many scientific publications in his field of specialization, and since 2023 he has served as Head of the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science, University of Tripoli.

- His current duties as Head of the Zoology Department include the scientific and administrative affairs of the Zoology Department

·         Understanding the relationship between exposure to pollutants and health through human biomonitoring studies.

Dr. Essam Talha is an environmental activist in the field of environmental impact assessment and has many contributions in providing environmental consultations in many community institutions as well as environmental awareness in society.
