Roles
Since my appointment as a faculty member in the Department of Life Sciences at the Faculty of Science, I have undertaken numerous academic, scientific, and administrative responsibilities that contribute to the development of the educational and research processes within the university. These responsibilities include teaching both theoretical and practical courses in the fields of General Biology and Parasitology, as well as providing academic supervision to undergraduate students, including the supervision of graduation projects. In addition, I have participated in the preparation and development of academic curricula in accordance with approved academic standards. I have also been actively involved in several scientific and administrative committees at both the departmental and faculty levels, and have contributed to the organization of scientific activities and training workshops. Furthermore, I serve as the Quality Assurance Coordinator of the department, where I work on monitoring the implementation of quality assurance and academic accreditation standards. My role also includes preparing periodic reports related to the evaluation of academic performance and the improvement of learning outcomes, thereby enhancing the overall quality of the educational and research processes within the university.
Careers
My research interests focus on the field of medical and environmental parapsychology, with particular emphasis on the study of parasites that infect humans and animals, their modes of transmission, and their impact on public health. My interests also include investigating the prevalence of intestinal parasites in local communities and the environmental factors associated with their transmission. In addition, I am interested in studying parasites transmitted through food, water, and fresh vegetables. I also focus on exploring the relationship between parasites and the environment, including the use of certain parasitic organisms as bio indicators for assessing environmental pollution. My research interests further extend to the study of the biodiversity of parasites in fish and marine organisms in the Libyan coastal environment. Moreover, I am interested in modern laboratory techniques for the diagnosis of parasitic infections and in improving detection methods, with the aim of supporting scientific research and contributing to the development of effective strategies for the prevention and control of parasitic diseases.

External Activities
My scientific activities outside the framework of university teaching include participation in several academic and research activities that contribute to serving the scientific community and advancing scientific research. These activities include contributing to the review and evaluation of scientific papers submitted for publication in specialized academic journals, as well as participating in scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops related to the fields of Life Sciences and Parasitology. I also participate in providing scientific consultations and contributing to academic activities aimed at enhancing cooperation between educational and research institutions. In addition, I continuously follow recent scientific developments in my field of specialization and engage in activities that support the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the development of research skills.
