Osama Salem Al-Sharif worked as a faculty member in the Department of Sports Training from 2000 to 2023. He headed many tasks, including head of the Water Sports Department and head of the scientific magazine at the college. He also worked in many positions, including Secretary-General of the Libyan General Federation for Swimming and Diving, as well as coach of the Libyan swimming team.

Careers

Dr. Osama Al-Sharif worked as Head of the Water Sports and Self-Defense Department at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in the year 2001-2002, then he was appointed Secretary and Head of the Water Sports Department in the year 2003-2005, then he was appointed Head of the Water Sports Unit in the Training Department in the year 2014-2015. Then he was appointed director of the scientific journal at the College of Religious Education and Sports Sciences in the year 2012-2014.

Research Interests

Dr. Osama Al-Sharif has had many publications and research studies, in many scientific and technical journals in his specialty, and these are among the research and studies for promotion of academic degrees. Among these publications, for example, are five research papers in the Scientific Journal of Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Tripoli, and five research papers in... The Scientific Journal of Sports Sciences, Al-Zawiya University, and three research papers for the Scientific Journal of Sports Sciences, Al-Marqab University.

External Activities

In addition to his work, Dr. Osama Al-Sharif made many contributions in his field of specialization, in the private sector with the Libyan Swimming Federation, where he chaired many technical committees, in many events in various sports activities, which were held in many specialized marine clubs in Libyan cities. .

He was appointed Secretary-General of the Libyan Swimming and Diving Federation in the year 2001 - 2005, then he was appointed Secretary-General of the Board of Directors of the Libyan General Swimming and Diving Federation, in the year 2012 - 2016, after he was elected by the General Assembly of the Federation. He was also appointed Chairman of the General Elected Committee of the Libyan General Swimming and Diving Federation. In the same years, he was also appointed coach in several specialized marine clubs.

Dr. Osama Al-Sharif also worked as a lecturer in many specialized scientific courses, in the field of water sports and sports management, within the programs of the Libyan General Federation for Swimming and Diving. He also headed many external missions at the highest levels as president, coach and administrator.
