Roles

The doctor has been working as a faculty member at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Tripoli since 2006, and she teaches several courses in her field of specialization, including the foundations and history of physical education, field training, philosophy, and she has many publications. Physical education (teaching) in the field of curricula and teaching methods, as well as a researcher in this field. She supervised graduation projects for the bachelor's level, and discussed theses for the master's stage as an internal discussant within the scientific committee formed for the 2022 discussion. She evaluated master's theses as a secret evaluator for the scientific thesis.

Careers

Rabia joined the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Tripoli in 1994 AD and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in 1998 AD. She was appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Specialized Theoretical Sciences at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Tripoli in 2000 AD. Re-appointed in the department with the degree of assistant lecturer in 2006.

She obtained a scholarship to study outside Libya, where she joined the PhD program in the Arab Republic of Egypt, at the Faculty of Physical Education, Alexandria University, in 2008 AD, and obtained a precise doctorate degree in 2013 AD. The degree of Assistant Professor in the year 2017, and it was promoted to the degree of Associate Professor after its publication, due to the number of research papers and the fulfillment of the legal period for obtaining the degree of Associate Professor in the year 2021 AD.

External Activities

Rabia participated in a number of international and local conferences and scientific committees in the field of physical education and sports sciences, including in the United Arab Emirates in 2013, in Tunisia in 2015, in the Arab Republic of Egypt in 2019, and the international conference that was held in the State of Libya in 2018.
