Roles

Al-Nafati Shushan is a faculty member in the Department of Sharia at the Faculty of Sharia Sciences - Tajoura. Mr. Al-Nafati Shushan has been working at the University of Tripoli as a lecturer since 1999 and has many scientific publications in his field of specialization.Dr. Al-Nafati has held several positions at the college, including the Head of the Sharia Department at the college, and a member of the Graduate Studies Committee at the college.He has taught a number of areas of Sharia science, such as the jurisprudence of worship and transactions, the jurisprudence of the Sunnah, the terminology of hadith, and the objectives of Sharia.He has also supervised many graduation research projects for college students.

Careers

Dr. Al-Nafati has worked as a professor at a number of Libyan universities, where he has worked as a lecturer at the University of Tripoli since 2015. He previously worked as a faculty member at the Islamic University of Asmariya from 2005.

Research Interests

Dr. Al-Nafati has several publications and scientific writings in several fields of Islamic sciences, such as inheritance and contracts.

External Activities

Dr. Al-Nafati has a number of external activities. He is a member of the Libyan Fatwa House and a legal member of the Zakat Fund.
